FALL RESTAURANT HOURS

With the arrival of the cooler fall weather and the level of play at the club slowing
considerably, the hours of operation at the club will be reduced during the month of
October. The restaurant will be open from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm daily. Lunch will be
available until 2:00 pm with a limited menu available until 6:00 pm each day. Dinner
service will no longer be available for the remainder of the season. I apologize for
any inconvenience that this may cause but appreciate your understanding and support in
this effort to continue to cut our expenses during this slow season.

Monday Madness

Our Monday Madness promotion will continue through the season and provides a great opportunity each Monday to play St. Jay at significantly reduced rates. All the golf you can play with a cart for $ 35.00 to play one of the finest courses in the state is an opportunity too good to pass up. Join us next Monday for 18 holes or maybe even 36!

The Junior Golf Program

The Junior Golf Program concluded for the summer with a great final field day and cookout for the nearly 100 area juniors who participated in the program this year. Thanks to all the parents and volunteers who helped make the summer so special for all the kids. The Junior Program here at St. Johnsbury Country Club is a program that continues to grow in this part of the sate and has become one of the largest summer programs in the state and has produced many high school, college and professional golfers during the past several years. We continue to be very proud of the work we do and will look forward to continuing this tradition next season.

The summer of 2008 is winding down but the golf season here in the Northeast Kingdom is far from over. The fall months can provide some of the best playing conditions of the year. The great course conditions coupled with less play on the golf course, cooler fall temperatures and great fall vistas provide some of the best golf of the season. Join us and enjoy the final few months of the 2008 golf season.

GREENS AERATION

Please be advised that next Wednesday and Thursday Todd and his crew will be completing their fall aerification on the greens. The front nine will be closed to play on Wednesday, the back nine will close to play on Thursday. We appreciate your patience and can look forward to some great conditions for fall golf.
